Feb 2012 - KASA Assists Sinosteel Midwest Corporation Ltd with Construction and Operation Permits

KASA Consulting is in the process of preparing a Works Approval application and supporting documentation for a proposed extension of the Blue Hills Project.  KASA’s support will include liaison with relevant regulatory agencies together with Sinosteel, and provision of environmental advice through the design and submission preparation process.

Jan 2012 - KASA Assists MT Weld mining Gain Construction Approvals for Expansion

KASA Consulting was engaged in 2011 to prepare approvals documentation for the proposed Stage 2 Expansion of the Mt Weld Project. A Works Approval was granted on 6 January 2012 by the Department of Environment and Conservation allowing commencement of construction of expansion project components. In addition, KASA Consulting worked close with the Office of the Environmental Protection Authority to ensure a streamlined assessment and the granting of approvals under Section 45C of the Environmental Protection Act, 1986.

Jan 2012-  KASA Assists RCR Resources with Management Plans

KASA Consulting was engaged by RCR in January 2012 to prepare a Construction Environmental Management Plan in accordance with tender specifications for the Solomon Project. The CEMP was developed using a risk based approach with due consideration of all tender pre-requisites, Environmental Conditions imposed on the Project and was integrated with RCR’s existing management systems.

Jan 2012 - Dust Monitoring Equipment

KASA's Monitoring and Equipment group have successfully completed a number of dust monitoring projects using our TSI Dust II 8530 Trak real time monitors with solar powered enclosures. This equipment is now available for rental. For further details contact Tyrone on 0439 958 109.
