Environmental Impact Assessment

KASA Consulting works with clients from the conceptual and pre-feasibility stages through to Project implementation.  Applicable documentation for each phase including State and/or Federal referrals, scoping documents and Environmental Review documentation (e.g. PER) are developed with input from the clients Project team, the public via stakeholder consultation workshops and mandatory public reviews.  We have experience in assisting clients develop suitable responses to Appeals on the level of assessment and EPA Reports and Recommendations.

KASA Consulting personnel have demonstrated experience in the conduct of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) which are a fundamental requirement of proposals for major development Projects with significant environmental impacts.  Our understanding of environmental legislation and the complexities of the formal approvals process allows KASA Consulting to assist clients steer mining and industrial projects of any size through a thorough assessment process.  Our focus is to ensure a comprehensive assessment that satisfies the environmental requirements of authorities, obligations for community engagement and that strives to achieve a pragmatic outcome for proponents.

We have access to a range of specialist environmental practitioners in the fields of botany, ecology, air quality, hydrology and hydrogeology, water quality, noise and vibration, waste management, Aboriginal heritage, closure planning, visual amenity and community engagement.

With the pending changes to the WA EIA Administrative Procedures, KASA Consulting can guide proponents through the new process in conjunction with the office of the EPA.
