Permits and Licensing
Following any
formal assessment
process for major mining or industrial
development Projects, or for smaller facilities that are Prescribed
under the WA Environmental
protection Act, 1986, KASA Consulting can assist clients in
obtaining the necessary permits and licences that may be required to
commence activities. KASA
Consulting prepares the necessary documentation required for
applications of the following typical permits and licences:
·
Works Approvals or licences to permit commencement of construction or
operation of prescribed facilities;
·
Mining Proposal approvals from the WA Department of Mines and
Petroleum to permit commencement of mining and related activities;
·
Vegetation clearing permits;
·
26D and 5C licences from the WA Department of Water to construct
groundwater wells and to take water;
·
Section 18 notices to the WA Dept of Indigenous Affairs for the
management of known archaeological or ethnographic sites;
·
Noise limit exemptions under the
Environmental Protection (Noise) Regulations, 1987.
KASA Consulting undertakes a systematic approach
when assisting our clients in seeking required permits and licences by
closely liaising with the clients’ Project team to collate the
necessary information for the application, and to liaising with
relevant regulatory agencies to ensure that permits or licences are
processed in a timely manner.
